Dear All,
Though I have given my feedback already through a link that came across to do so, I want to state that I am extremely overwhelmed and feel so proud to have participated in this Marathon on its 2014 edition. This run will always remain etched in my memory forever since I was coming from a grievous injury whereby, the last digit of my right middle finger got amputated accidentally just 10 days before the event. I was in a fairly bad mental and physical condition, besides the heavy dose of antibiotics that took a toll in terms of my level of hydration.

I drove to Satara from Mumbai only to accompany my wife who was to run the 10k and perhaps, to click pictures but as I got to the expo to collect the Bibs, the whole atmosphere was so infectious that I decided to run the gruelling 21K! and with my wife’s encouragement, I ran the marathon, albeit with cramps while descending the hills but I was so touched by the super encouragement from residents all through the course and am pleasantly surprised at the scale at which, the infrastructure was organised!
I will not be wrong in stating that the organisation scale and finesse is far greater and better than SCMM without a doubt!

The breakfast bag given away with those two milk pouches was seriously, well thought and wonderful!

Hats off for thinking so deep…

Why this will always hold a special place is it enabled me to believe in me once again and enabled me to gain my confidence back. Can never forget the tears that rolled down my cheeks as I reached the finishing line!

The key ingredient was the attitude and hospitality. There were people everywhere to help and cheer. You never felt tired and wanted to run your best. The slogans on the way were very positive and motivating.

Everything was great. Appreciate the great attitude and hospitality of organizers and town residents. Would love to come back next year.

What a run and what arrangements…..AMAZING !!!

I must write my experience in two lines. In the beginning I had set the target of 2.15 to 2.20 but as I saw Nashik dhols…. ur large music systems , I couldn’t control and dropped the idea of pace and decided to dance at every dhol station and I did the same.

I was literally dancing at every station by stopping there for a min or so. ..this was my first Satara run and I enjoyed like never before. .even after dancing and all I finished in 2.30.31.

Thank u very much and I will back with my two sons and wife to run toughest and most enjoyable run of India.

Your marathon was excellent in all aspects. It was extremely well organized, there were plenty of volunteers on the running track, as such the run was quite challenging and it was a pleasure to complete it. My heartiest congratulations.

Our group is extremely happy. Most improved their time over Hyderabad.
Even I was able to cut 15 minutes from Hyderabad time.
